Rudraveenai was filled with so much mystery and that feeling was fanned out throughout most parts of the book. The characters had so much potential but the climax was a bit underwhelming. It felt so rushed but I did enjoy the book neverthelesss.

Feels complete already By the time you are done with the book you know how things will fall into its place.. then you wonder why is there another sequel to it. Would have been excellent if only it was wrapped up with this book. Good one.. worth reading.

Ruthra Veenai is a devotional Tamil book that gives you goosebumps in certain places, whether you believe in God or not. It's a magical and intriguing story with a well-crafted narrative. The parallel storylines and how they intertwine are incredibly well told. However, before starting this book, you should have a good understanding of pure Tamil.

Being addicted to Sujatha's writings, I have decided to read a different author, substantially a underrated author. Then I came across this book "Rudraveenai" by Indira Soundarrajan. I must say it is not succulent as Sujatha's writing but definitely a worth reading one. Despite schematic writing,the plot keeps you plunged in it at all times. While I am writing this, I have planned to take up his next book. A Page turner with simplistic writing.
