I have seen the serial but it came to halt in midway. Can someone tell me what this novel narrates and what is the end? A brief story will be thankful.

Indira soundhirarajan sir's books are always best.. But this one is a gem!! Worth to read.
The momemtum that got built in the beginning wasn't maintained till the end! Felt cheated it was no way close to classics like vittu vidu karuppa!
The author didn't go with the narrative he did in 'edhuvum nadakkum' Series.
Very good Mystery book. Fast, Page turner, Very good story and good language.

Wonderful experience reading the story, it is like you traveling with the story as a character, I am aware that Mr. Indira Soundarrajan has done many wonderful novels. They must continue the TV series based of on this novel "Edhuvum Nadakam" which stopped in after one chapter completed.
இயற்கையை அழித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் மனித இனத்தின் பேராசையை எப்பவும் போல சித்தர்களை வைத்து சொல்லியிருக்கிறார். இவரின் பல கதைகளில் வரும் அதே கதாபாத்திரங்கள் விஞ்ஞானத்துக்கு கொடிப் பிடிப்பவர்கள், பல வருடங்களாக குழந்தையின்மை. அந்த காட்டைப்பற்றி படம் எடுக்க வரும் இரண்டு கதாபாத்திரங்கள் வீண்.

Typical Indira Soundarajan style. The book as per your take if you believe its Science its science, if its Spiritual then its spiritual.
Long book doesnt even make you yawn in single page, fantastic page turner. All the mysteries need not to be resolved and if there is a mystery for good things leave as it is. This is the core concept of this book.
We human always wanted to dig into something and spoil it in the end thats what happened to nature today and the author wants us to avoid this, Respect to the author.

I wish to read the book when i saw that the serial made on it got abruptly stopped. The book throws light on tress, their nature, their godliness, how they are respected among tribes etc. Books like Ragasiyam, Vittu vidu karuppa, siva ragasiyam and vaanathu manidargal have similar kind of plot. Initially it begins with every accidental happening is due to some superstitious thing and in the final it all ends with the happened coz of human err. With this book, you will get to know about a forest, trees, and how tresspassing will ends up in a mess. Vaanathu manidargal is again one of the best works of Indira. The story thrills and makes one to read the next chapters sooner.
Yet another good supernatural thriller from India Soundarajan. The story is set in a mysterious forest named Thanumalyavanam, the forest tribal have their own code of living as per the natural way and adopting tree worship. 18 mysterious characters also live in the forest and they provide support to the people living in the forest whenever there is a crisis. A new forest officer takes charge replacing the existing forest office who wanted a transfer out of the forest. After his takeover, lot of mysterious and thrilling events unfold.
I have reduced one star because of the enormous spelling mistakes across the entire book. Also, there is a jumbling of paragraphs in almost all the chapters which makes it difficult to read. Looks like no proof reading has been done for the ebook version.
The end was not the way expected. But a good read though.

எப்போதும் எனது எதிர்பார்ப்பை சற்றும் ஏமாற்றாத எழுத்தாளர் இந்திரா சௌந்தர்ராஜன், இந்த புதினத்தில் கூட அப்படித்தான். ஆன்மிகம், சித்தர்கள், நம்பிக்கை என்ற ஒரு புறமும் மூடநம்பிக்கை, போலி ஆன்மிகம் என்ற மற்றொரு புறமும் அழகாக சித்தரித்திருக்கிறார். வானத்து மனிதர்கள் எனும் கூட்டத்தினர் புத்தகம் முழுக்க ஒரு புதிராகவே வலம் வந்து செல்கின்றனர். சற்று விநோதமாகவும் தென்பட்டனர். காட்டில் வசிக்கும் மக்களும் அவர்களின் வித்தியாசமான பழக்க வழக்கங்களும் வியப்பாகவே இருந்தது. தாவரங்களின் மேலும் விலங்குகளின் மேலும் அவர்கள் கொண்டுள்ள அன்பும் பாசமும் மரியாதையும் நல்ல ஒரு எடுத்துக்காட்டு. நமது நம்பிக்கைக்கு அப்பால் உள்ள விஷயங்களை அவநம்பிக்கை என்ற கோணத்தில் பாராமல் அதையும் அறியநினைப்பது எவ்வளவு முக்கியம் என்று எழுத்தாளர் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார். புத்தகம் முழுக்க வலம் வரும் பாத்திரங்கள் அனைவருக்கும் தங்களுக்குண்டான முக்கியத்துவம் அளிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. கதையின் முடிவு சற்று வித்தியாசமாக உள்ளது. கதைக்கு உகந்த முடிவா என்று எனக்கு சொல்ல தெரியவில்லை. என்றாலும் எதிர்பார்த்த திருப்தியை கதையின் முடிவு எனக்கு அளிக்கவில்லை. 400 பக்கங்கள் கொண்ட இந்த புதினம் சற்று பெரிய ஒரு வாசிப்பு தான். இருந்தாலும் எனக்கு எவ்விதத்திலும் இந்த வாசிப்பு சலிப்பூட்டவில்லை.
எப்பொழுதும் போல இந்த புத்தகத்திலும் இந்திரா சௌந்தர்ராஜன் தனது முத்திரையை நிலைநாட்டுகிறார். அவருக்கே உண்டான கதைக்களமும் பாணியும் ரசிப்பவர்கள் கண்டிப்பாகவாசிக்கவேண்டிய புத்தகம். பக்கத்துக்கு பக்கம் மர்மம் என்ற ஒரு வாசிப்பை விரும்புபவர்கள் கூட இந்த புதினத்தை தாராளமாக வாசிக்கலாம்.
இரகசியங்கள் காக்கப்படும் வரையில் தான் அதற்கு மதிப்பு உண்டு. அனைவருக்கும் தெரிந்தவையாக மாறும் போது எந்த உயர்வும் இல்லாமல் சராசரிக்கு கீழே சென்றுவிடும்.
பேராசையால் விதிக்கப்பட்ட கட்டுப்பாட்டை மீறும் போது அவர்களை மட்டும் அழிக்காமல்
தன்னைத் தானே அழித்துப் புதிய வடிவத்தைப் பெறும் இயற்கை.
தாணுமாலயக்குடி
பல அமானுஷ்யங்களை உள்ளடக்கிய தாணுமாலயக்குடி என்னும் மலைகாட்டுக்கு வன அதிகாரியாக சிவக்குமார் வருகிறார்.ஏற்கனவே அங்கே இருந்த காளிமுத்து விடாபடியாக டிரான்ஸ்பர் வாங்கி அந்தக் காட்டை விட்டு வெளியேறினால் போதும் என்று சென்றுவிடுகிறார்.
சிவன் ,விஷ்ணு ,பிரம்மா மூன்று கடவுள்களும் ஒரே மரத்தில் இருப்பதாக அங்கே வசிப்பவர்களை அம்மரத்தை காலம் காலமாக வழிபடுகின்றனர். சிவகுமாருக்கு பத்து ஆண்டுகளாகக் குழந்தை இல்லாததால் அங்கே நீலி என்பவளின் சொல்பேச்சு கேட்டு அவரின் மனைவி வள்ளியம்மை அம்மரத்தை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளச் சில நாட்களில் கர்ப்பம் தரிக்கிறாள்.
அம்மலையில் இந்திரன் சாப விமோசனம் வேண்டி தவம் இருந்ததாகவும் மேலே இருந்த தேவர்களுடன் கற்பக விருட்சம் மரம் முதலாக அனைத்தும் அந்தக் காட்டில் இன்னும் உலாவுவதாக வாய்மொழிகதைகள் பல உண்டு.
டிரான்ஸ்பர் வாங்கிச் சென்ற காளிமுத்துவின் சடலம் அந்தக் காட்டிலே கிடக்க பல கெட்ட செய்திகள் ஒன்று தொடுத்து ஒன்றாக வருகிறது. ஏதோ தவறு நடந்து கொண்டிருக்கு என்பதற்கு அறிகுறியாக.
அம்மலையில் வாழ்பவர்களால் வானத்து மனிதர்கள் என்று சொல்லப்படும் பதினெட்டுப் பேர்கள் பல நல்ல காரியங்களைச் செய்து காட்டைக் காப்பாற்றுவதால் அவர்களைச் சித்தர் என்று போற்றுகின்றனர். ஆனால் முப்பது வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு பல நாட்டு விஞ்ஞானிகள் சென்ற விமானம் அந்தக் காட்டில் விபத்தில் மாட்டியதால் அவர்கள் தான் தப்பித்துத் தற்போது வானத்து மனிதர்களாக வலம் வருகின்றனர் என்று சிவக்குமார் மற்றும் அவரின் தம்பியும் நம்புகின்றனர்.
அக்காட்டில் தங்க சுரங்கம் இருப்பதை அறிந்து அதைக் கைப்பற்ற பல கெட்டது தொடர்ந்து நடக்கிறது. எப்பொழுது அனைவருக்கும் அங்கே தங்கம் இருப்பது தெரிந்ததோ இயற்கை தன் வேலையைக் காட்டி சூறாவளியை உருவாக்கி அந்த மலையையே புரட்டி போட்டு அனைத்தையும் மாற்றிவிடுகிறது.
ஒரு காட்டையே கண் முன் நிறுத்தும் எழுத்து.
நம்புகிறவனுக்கு எல்லாம் அவன் செயல்,நம்பாதவனுக்கு யாரோ செய்த செயல். ஆனால் அனைத்தையும் செய்யும் ஒருவன் இருக்கிறான் என்பது இருச்சாரரும் மறுக்க முடியாக உண்மை.
