தி. ஜானகிராமன் நாவல்களில் மிகவும் ஜனரஞ்சகமானது ‘அன்பே ஆரமுதே’. வெகுஜன இதழில் தொடராக வெளிவந்ததனால் மட்டுமல்ல; கதையோட்டத்தில் நிகழும் நாடகீயத் தருணங்கள் எதிர்பாரா சுவாரசியத்தைக் கொண்டிருப்பதும் காரணம். ஆன்மீக ஈடுபாடு முற்றிய அனந்தசாமி திருமண நாளன்று துறவறம் பூண்டு ஓடுகிறார். சந்நியாசியாக அலைகிறார் முப்பது ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு அதே மணப் பெண்ணிடம் வந்து சேர்கிறார். இந்தக் கால ஓட்டத்தில் நேரும் உளவியல் சிக்கல்களையும் உறவுப் பிணைப்புகளையும் சொல்கிறது நாவல். இளமையில் விலகிப்போன இருவர் முதுமையில் மணமுடிக்காத தம்பதியராகவும் பெறாத பெண்ணுக்குப் பெற்றோராகவும் மாறும் அதிசயமே கதையின் மையம். அதைக் கலைப் பண்புகள் துலங்க தி. ஜானகிராமனின் தேர்ந்த கை இழைத்திருக்கிறது. இன்று எழுதப்பட வேண்டிய கதையை அரை நூற்றாண்டுக்கு முன்னரே அவரது படைப்பு மனம் யோசித்திருக்கிறது. This appeared as a serial in Kalki during 1961-62. All the Kalki magazines are available in Archive.org. It is very interesting to read the novel in bits and pieces. 1961's Madras, Delhi, the people their life. Thi. Jaa describes them as seen in a movie.

உறவுகளை எப்போதும் ஒரு சன்னியாசியின் மன நிலையில் இருந்த அணுக வேண்டும் என்றும் அல்லது உலகியலை சன்னியாசி மன நிலையுடன் அணுக வேண்டும் என்றும் சொல்லபடுவதை ஒரு நாவலாக எழுதி பார்த்திருக்கிறார். மிகவும் சிக்கலான அதே நேரத்தில் நேர்த்தியான கதையாக முடித்து இருக்கிறார். கதையின் நாயகன் அனந்தசாமி என்ற சன்னியாசியும் அவரின் உலகியளின் ஆடல் மட்டுமே கதை. சன்னியாசியானாலும் தாயின் அன்பு என்ற வலையில் விழுந்து ஒன்றைப்பற்றி ஒன்றாக உறவுகள் விரிந்து செல்கிறது கதை. மற்ற கதைக்ஃளைப்போல இவர்களும் இந்த சென்னையில் எங்கோ வாழ்கிறார்கள் என்று அமைதிப்பட்டு திரும்புகிறோம்.

Janakiraman is the master of dealing the complex relationship stories that are far ahead of his time. This book goes into my regret book list. My life would've been different if I read this book 10 years ago.
