கதை ஆரம்பம் முதலே விறுவிறுவென்று போகிறது.
தற்போதைய ஆளும் மத்திய அரசிற்கு எதிராக திராவிட கட்சி எழுப்பிய விஷயங்களை கதையில் தூவி உள்ளார்.
பிராமண எதிர்ப்பை ஆரம்பத்திலேயே சூட்சுமமாக வைத்துள்ளார்..
விறுவிறுப்பான கதை படிக்க ஆரம்பித்து 1.5 மணி நேரத்தில் முடிந்தது என்றாலும் வேகத்திற்கு பஞ்சமில்லை. பாதி புத்தகம் படித்த உடன் கதை எப்படி பயணிக்கிறது என்பதை யுகிக்க முடிகிறது. இருந்தாலும் ஒர் ஹரி படம் பார்த்த அனுபவம்.
In an era where OTT platforms are flooded by tons of suspense thrillers, which have the so called 'never seen before ' twists, it was not difficult to predict the suspense in this work. However the novel is fast paced.
Good Story...
Nice crime story. At last my guess was correct. It could have been Ultimate Superb , if it has more interesting sequence. But still its a nice read... Great job. Expecting an improvement from your upcoming releases
Rating 3.0. Simple Story with a lot of flaws in the plot. Looks like the author hurried the ending. Probably want to keep the cost of the book down by keeping the pages down. I would have loved to see more pages with characters development and plot development. The research done to come up with this story deserved a bigger writing.
I’d say a good opportunity gone betting
One word SEN BALAN is exceptional, the story is short , witty, thrilling and a real page turner and as always intelligent plot with beautiful characterisation . After MAYAPERUNILAM it is very good, hereafter I am going to read all his work without any hesitaion, and he has bright future ahead.

Above average detective story
Writer intends to create a brainy detective Aldo but if you have read / watched detective movies before, you will figure out the suspect easily.
Giving stats about drug usage and porn usage is kind of different but at the same time downside is you will be able to guess the course of the story.
முதலில் ஒரு நாவலை எழுதியமைக்கு வாழ்துக்கள். ஆரம்பம் நன்றாக இருந்தது, நல்ல கதைக்கான க்ரைம் திரில் கொடுத்த அந்த வேகம் பிறகு குறைந்தது ஏனோ? எனக்கு பிடித்து என்னவென்றால் அந்த மெடிக்கல் ரெப்பை சுற்றி வளைப்பது தான். சென்னைக்கே உரித்தான கஞ்சா, அயோக்கியத்தனம் என்று சென்னையை அழகான இடமாக காட்டாமல் இருந்தமைக்கு நன்றி. கதை திருப்தி படுத்தியதா என்றால் இல்லை, கொஞ்சம் சுருக்கி இருக்கலாம். நிறைய புதுப்புது யுக்திகளை பயன்படுத்தி க்ரைம் த்ரில்லரை கட்டமைக்க வேண்டுகிறேன். நன்றி.
நூல் ஆசிரியர் திக, திமுக பெரியார் கோஷ்டியை சேர்ந்தவர் என்பதை பல இடங்களில் ஜாதி துவேஷத்தை வெளிபடுத்துவதன் மூலம் அறிந்துக்கொள்ள முடிகிறது. குறிப்பாக ஜாதி இல்லை என்று சொல்லிக்கொண்டு ஒரு சில ஜாதியை சார்ந்தவர்களை தன் கதாபாத்திரம் மூலம் கெட்டவ்ர்களாக கான்பிக்க முயல்கிறார். சோனி டிவி கிரைம் பேட்ரோல் கதைகளை கதையாக கதைகதையாக அளந்துள்ளார். ஒட்டுமொத்ததில் ஜாதி வெறிபிடித்தவர் எழுதிய திரில் என்கிற பெயரில் வழக்கமான கதை.

This one is much better than the last one.
"If there's no evidence, start the investigation by finding out the motive. If there's no motive, then we have got ourselves a serial killer."
And the motive at the end was given as facts in each chapter. The reveal was good but the dialogues felt artificial and the scenes were so forced that it made me think of 90s Malayalam Detective Movies. It's not a bad thing but I wanted more in-depth characters in a murder mystery.
A short and nice flimsy mystery.
New age "realistic" crime detective novel. A difficult case without much leads and how "aldo" the protagonist solves it is interestingly naratted. This is second one in a series by the author (though there are no continuation & these can be separate novels). However, i don't like the "informative fact" section that comes in every chapter. One reason is its a cliche and looks like old "Rajesh Kumar" novels. secondly it reveals the possible motive of the crime which is make the story guessable and hence reader loses the thrill.

கூட்டமான தொடர்வண்டிப் பெட்டியில், ஒருவரை இடுப்பில் காலால் உதைத்து கீழே தள்ள முடியுமா? போதை பொருட்களின் குறிப்புகள் கதை அதை நோக்கித் தான் செல்கிறதோ என்று நினைக்கையில் ஆபாச வீடியோக்கள் பற்றிய குறிப்புகள் நினைத்தது தவறோ என்ற எண்ணத்தை தந்தது. சஸ்பென்ஸாகவும், சலிப்பு தட்டாமலும் கதை நகருகிறது.

ஒரு முழு நேர மருத்துவரால் எப்படி ஒரு உயர் தரமான சுவாரஸ்யங்களும் திருப்பங்களும் நிறைந்த க்ரைம் நாவலை தர முடிந்தது? Hats off! மனுசன் அப்பப்ப அரசியலை வேறு அங்கங்கே நைசா புகுத்தி மிக நேர்த்தியாக ஆப்பு வைக்கிறார். அது மட்டுமல்லாமல் ஒவ்வொரு அத்தியாயத்தின் தொடக்கத்திலும் நாம் தெரிந்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டிய பல சுவையான தகவல்களை தருவது மட்டுமல்லாமல் அதன் மூலம் ஒரு எதிர்ப்பார்ப்பை ஏற்படுத்தி திருப்பங்களில் சுவாரஸ்ய மசாலாவை மெல்ல தூவி விடுகிறார். சுஜாதாவை ஞாபகப் படுத்திகிறார்.
இந்த நாவல் 2018 ன் Amazon Kindle ‘pen to publish’ போட்டியில் முதல் பரிசு வென்றது என்பதில் துளியும் ஆச்சரியமில்லை!

Not worth the time
The story began with a lot of promise and ended up with a whimper. I did not like some of the characterisation of the story.
1. Making one community ( from nanganallur ) as extremely selfish and not even bothered about the death close to them.
2. A character wearing religious signs ( Hindu) as a person who belongs to a group cheating people for 2000 years.
3. The successful police after finding the culprit by having beef biryani ( just to emphasize the dislike of one majority community )

Overall read of the novel was fast and a bit thrilling. Especially "Karthik Aldo" name itself is really good. One can actually feel that the author has done a decent amount of research for writing this novel. Still, here are some of the things which i feel might need to be corrected.
1. After reading the overall book, somewhere I feel it sounds more like a screenplay than a proper novel. The way story has been structured looks more filmy. For instance: Selvakumar was using a mobile is what his parents claim initially but why Aldo is worried about his mobile only towards the end? These days, prime evidences for the most of the crimes is Mobile phones. Isn't it?
2. Since i have been an ardent follower of Crime Novels, as per the incident Selvakumar is stamped and pushed from a running train. While the postmortem report would have revealed footprints on his dress/uniform whatsoever, why a crime scene investigator is least bothered about this? Investigating around the shoe prints would have made the read much more interesting

I am not convinced with the ending as there is a difference between a boy and a man.. The detective could have cleared this case easily, based on the CCTV footage itself..I find it, that there is lack of holding the suspense...Some parts of novel are inspired by Sujatha's detective novels, I guess.
3.5 star read for me.
I wish author could have spent more time on the characters so that we would have had more suspects to follow. Nevertheless, it was a fun read.
