This is an average book with not much of content. Interesting in bits and pieces but boring on a whole.
The way the author has presented is good, however, he seems to have skipped some interesting conversations he would have had with the people he interviewed. There are many interesting unknown facts about some of the famous people.
Compilation of people who struggled to make a remarkable place in this world, through their hard work, true to the self attitude and creative mind....Came to know about the interesting tit bits on the life of few people who i never heard of.
It tends to read this book more than once because each time you read this it gives you a different ideas from each personality. Its must read to get the different views to improve our selves on life and Career.
Especially when reading the Vairamuthu sir section something it generates you inside and I love that...
Lifts your spirit up. Life is not fair to anyone. This is what I made out of this book.Loved this words from Ajith - Time is money. It is stupid to waste present time and regret at 40. The negative side is the tanglish tone used in the book. May be the author has tried to stick on to the real wordings of the people he interviewed, but it could have been avoided. Overall, a good read.
Similar to Stay Hungry Stay Foolish by Bansal. Quite excited to read by reading the preface. Covered celebrities from different field like arts, industry, social service, politics and of course cinema. Expected more from Gopi, nevertheless it kindles the reader to know more about those personalities. Hardwork, Consistency and strong motivation towards the goal will make anyone succeed is the key point in this book.

In the preface he have nicely mentioned about the harichandra and gandhi, if harichandra drama is so powerful, then whoever seen it should have been a gandhi, but its about the drama, its about the viewers. some might be helped. :)
Most of the personalities are related to cine field, politics. if you are not into this then it might not be for you. Its a quick read.

The book is about interviews of 21 Famous personalities from different fields (Cinema, Writing, Business, politics)
Pros:
Gopinath covered important aspects like how these personalities rose to this level, the principle they follow,the perseverance they had, how they were during their ups and downs.
Cons:
It is just brief, don't expect too much of content about every personality.(Since It is not their biography)
Rating:
Good. I'm satisfied with what I've read about them. simple and clear.
Moral:
I've learned that "If you believe in what you are doing and if you have the perseverance, you can reach where you want to be"
I am interested to read this book.

You will get some idea to how you to talk others and how to motivate our self.
It makes us thing what we are doing in life and some examples stated here will even change the perception we have towards any problem.
This book has a good collection of 90s celebrities. In 2025 almost 80% of them are unknown to this generation. Each and every interview is short, sharp and neat. Gopinath can work on the sequel of this book by going through the same celebrities' life now.
collection of 30 articles,which was interviewed on various sector personalities by gopinath...still the words and quotations remains in memory...my most favorite line among that was 'parabarappuku idayil thaan pattampoochiyai rasikka vendum'

Some of the essays were super inspiring, others not so much. Gopinath mentions in the beginning the he hopes the reader like Gandhi (who was inspired by Harichandra drama) would draw their own inspiration. True to his prologue he has kept the tone of the essays conversational rather than preachy.
I wish his book included more essays from people who are unlikely to get the media attention.
