such a beautiful book about Indian romance.
The male protagonist is so much cute and love.🪻
“Tangled in Living × Love” was both difficult and lovely in equal measure. There was laughter and tears as I read the book. The couple’s day-to-day life and its mundane details comes in shockingly large wonderful portions. At the end, one feels like an elderly companion who needs encouragement.
The favorite part about this work is the unique intermingling of romance and love. Love is infinitely variable; it isn’t something that is absolute or perfect, but something that needs effort to defend and maintain. In addition, I appreciated the changes and developments throughout the story, since the main characters were all well designed. Each of them has their own flaws and strengths, making them feel beautifully human.
Here, in “Tangled in Living × Love,” a great analysis and impact is given with intrectising skills as well as captivating and interesting. The journey is astonishing and captivating.
This book didn’t disappoint me, just as I expected after reading this author’s first book, ATA. I was drawn to her writing style and wanted to explore her other works. At first, I thought it would follow a typical love-and-romance storyline, but this book surprised me with themes like self-growth and the importance of having a partner who tries to understand you, even when you’re messy and hard to figure out.
The beginning of the book felt very cinematic......especially the café scene. Then, out of nowhere, the female lead made a grand, almost heroic entry. It was such a surprise after such a calm and subtle opening. The romance between the leads was both sweet and mature, offering plenty to learn from their relationship.
I also appreciated how the family dynamics were shown in an imperfect yet realistic way, mirroring real life. Honestly, I loved the second half of the book even more. The character development was deep, and every character had their own reasons and realistic struggles.
I’m absolutely in love with Prabhu.....he’s a dream boy! I wish I could have a boyfriend like him. And Tamizhini’s character? She’s so many things, and her journey felt very personal to me.
With all my heart, I’m giving this book five stars!
Tangled in Livin x Love" by Aarti Shankar is an interesting book which knobs together love, secrets, and relationships. It follows the journey of Tamizhini and Prabhu who have been together for four years and have taken the unconventional decision of living together privately. Their relationship is fueled with love but is also a juggling act of their professional lives, societal upbringing, and the need to maintain a facade.
The author blends in the emotional struggles the couple faces beautifully as they try to sustain their relationship amidst external pressures and internal dilemmas. What is astonishing is the authenticity of the characters; they are multi-dimensional, therefore, making the story more fascinating. The book has a touch of humor along with soft moments that make the readers more invested in the characters.
Aside from the storyline, with the veil being pulled over the couple’s secret, the question of whether love can exist in such turmoil makes the plot even more gripping. Will their affectionate bond be enough to hold them together, or will they succumb to the reality and drift apart?
Aarti Shankar’s Tangled in Livin × Love intricately weaves themes of romance, risk, and the precarious nature of holding on and letting go. The assumption of four years of love and intimacy filled with immeasurable depth construes the lives of Tamizhini and Prabhu. However, plunging into the unchartered waters of a “secret live-in” relationship comes with some enormous sacrifices. The book firmly embodies the balancing act between radically different cultures.
The hidden emotions and indefinable secrets makes the narrative more gripping while urging readers to ponder over the consequences of abuse. Will Prabhu and Tamizhini fight to unravel the deep intricacies of their lives while trying to hold onto one another, or will the burden of truth shackles them apart? One misstep would force them to pay a deeply emotional price that could destroy their family dynamics and isolate them in a life that appears perfect to outsiders, but when viewed closely, is devoid of essence.
The blend of witty humor with actionable life guidance encapsulates the core of life in “LivinLove.” The boundaries set to contain the characters prove their determination to freedom the couple is in search of. The author’s ability to bring forth her unique imagination while breathing life into her characters is commendable. Secrets have a profound way of surfacing out, and when they do in the case of the protagonists, the aftermath results in creating rifts that leave profound impacts in their lives. The revealing cliffhangers keeps the audience glued while guaranteeing satisfaction upon reaching the final pages.
Let me start off by telling you something – I never pick up romance novels. Atleast I didn’t until I came across Tangled in Livin’ × Love. Aarti Shankar’s writing is relatable and the way she engages readers is outstanding. The characters are complex yet unique, and possess well-defined strengths and flaws. The way the author penetrated the intricacies within relationships made me admire the discrepencies in love, family, and culture.
The most striking components to me of the novel were how the different narrative strands of the story spooled together. All the characters’ lives and timelines integrade seamlessly in the novel in a manner that looks real. The cultural nuances and values she showcased were phenomenal as well. They added more weight to the story. I loved how the story deeply opposed some sensitive topics but resorted to tackle them with hints of delicacy and sophistication.
The romance blended in was equally as good as the rest of the book – tender yet captivating. No doubt, Tamizhini and Prabhu’s love story is one for the books and it is impossible not to cheer for them. This novel will capture the hearts of all romance and fiction lovers.
This book is a beautiful and honest story about love, life, and the challenges of relationships. It follows Tamizhini and Prabhu, a young couple who decide to live together before marriage, which is not common or easy in Indian society. The story shows how they try to handle family expectations, personal struggles, career growth, and their relationship, all at the same time.
What I really liked about the book is how real the characters feel. They are not perfect, and their relationship is full of ups and downs, just like in real life. Their conversations, fights, and sweet moments are written in such a simple and natural way that you start feeling connected to them.
The book is not only about romance — it also talks about personal growth, self-respect, and understanding the people around you. The author shows how love is not always about big surprises or dreamy moments, but about being there for each other during the hard times.
The writing style is smooth and easy to follow. The situations and emotions are something many young people, especially in today’s world, can relate to.

It has been a while since I read something so breathtaking, and to think that an author’s ability is what makes you invested in a metaphor is a testament in and of itself. Her weaving of the story around the couples relationship was indeed fine art flourishing every now and then. In addition, I liked the author’s courage in dealing with sensitive subjects rather than using the typical or idealistic notions on love and relationships.
