Seriously, how many marriages!? lol. Good fiction, a journey. antha kaalathu sci-fi commercial padam nu nenaikuren. Mass hero, liked by most of the young women, amazingly skilled, born as a prince but brought up as an ordinary man who fights back for his throne and kingdom.

A book that takes us to the era of hero worship, the protagonist seemingly infallible and excessively lionized. இவ்வாண்டில் முதலில் வாசித்து முடித்த புத்தகம். சற்றே சிறிய நூலானாலும், வாசித்து முடிக்க நாட்களாகி விட்டதற்கு காரணமுண்டு. சீவகசிந்தாமணி காப்பியத்தை உரைநடை கதையாக சொல்லாமல், அதில் உள்ள சில பாடல்களை மேற்கோள் காட்டியும், அதற்கு பொருள் விளக்கங்களை கொண்டும் அமைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது இந்நூல். சில பாடல்களுக்கு விளக்கங்களும் இல்லை. அதனால் பலமுறை படித்தபின்தான் பொருள் உணர்ந்து கொள்ள முடிகிறது. சீவகனின் கதை தெரிந்ததுதான் என்றாலும், பாடல்கள் மூலமாகவும் அறிவதில், நமது பள்ளிகாலத்தில் படித்ததை நினைவு கூறமுடிகிறது. அறம், நல்லொழுக்கம், வீரம், கொல்லாமை, புலனடக்கம், புலால் மறுத்தல், வீடுபேறு தொடர்பான பாடல்களே அதிகமாக இடம்பெற்றிருக்கிறது. மேலும், கடைசி பக்கங்களில் குண்டலகேசி மற்றும் வளையாபதி பற்றியும் சில பாடல்களை மேற்கோள் காட்டியும் பொருள் விளக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. காப்பிய பாடல்களை முழுவதும் படித்து பொருள் உணர்வதற்கு பதிலாக, இப்படி கதைநலனாக காப்பியங்களை படிக்க ஆரம்பிப்பது சற்று இலகுவானதாகவே படுகிறது. பொறுமையும், தமிழ்மொழியில் சற்றே பொருள் ஞானமும் உள்ளவர்கட்கு வாசிக்க ஏற்ற நூல்.
