A nice read, a glimpse into a works of those days. They seem to have worked hard with only meagre resources, the vision of such a project and the dedication of people involved could only come by their love of these things.

chalapathy sir's writing is magical - transforms what would've been a dry account of forgotten tomes and esoteric intellectual undertakings into a testimony to the indomitable passion of man, of communities transcending barriers to come together and build monuments to human knowledge, and in the absence of such passionate networks, individuals labouring away day and night, without desire for profit or fame, for the benefit of the coming generations of the world.
